Nikobus

The revolutionary Nikobus automation system allows the user complete control over their environment and is ideal for use in commercial and domestic installations.
It is controlled by a simple two wire low voltage control system and is operated using programmable buttons, remote control or telephone interface .
The heart of the system is the control bus which is available in three different formats; switching ,dimming and shutter control.
These can be used alone or integrated into a complete system e.g Dimming alone or a complete Home automation system.
Each bus can accommodate up to 256 control points but up to 20 buses can be used in parallel making the system as large or small in order to be tailored to any individual requirement.

The system can also be controlled using external sensors such as timeclocks, pirs, security system etc.
It also allows programming using a screwdriver whereas traditional PLC systems require costly computer software and extensive training whereas in the Nikobus by using EPROM technology all programming is incorporated within the system.
Essentially what the system allows the user is the ability to control any fitting (light switching/dimming, heating control, opening gates/shutters etc) wired to the control bus from any point on the control circuit ,either by, one of the programmable push buttons, which are wired on up to 1 kilometer of 2 pair .8 square cable operating at 9v, or by remote control using radio frequency, infrared or telephone interface.

The Niko universal Led dimmer can control either 300w of standard lighting load or up to 10 dimmable LED fittings and is only 1 module in size.

High Frequency Electronic Ballasts

Benelec stock a wide range of ballasts for many electrical wholesalers and suppliers etc.
Benelec have different forms of lamp and on request we can source both complete units or electronics to be incorporated within custom fittings.

The use of electronic ballasts gives many advantages over the traditional wound ballasts and chokes, including, instant start, greatly increased lamp life, less stroboscopic effect and instant cutout at the end of lamp life.
We also introduce the MLS range of Multi-lamp Ballasts whereby one ballast can be used to power a wide range of different Wattages and lamp types.

Modella and Caravan

Benelec supply the Modella 230V and Caravan 12V superflat fluorescent fittings are the next generation of display/pelmet lighting using electronic control gear to give huge advantages in both performance and design.
While the overall size has been greatly reduced the lamp performance has been increased with up to 20,000 hrs life from the tube, instant start (even in refrigerated areas) and the ability to interlink up to 10 units.

These fittings feature Class II insulation which makes them suitable for use in food display, this feature coupled with the reduced level of heat produced by the ballast make them the Ideal safe choice for both public and private installations.

LED MiniSpots

The LED minispots are available in five main colours, white, blue, green, red and yellow and require a cutout of only 10mm to be fully recessed.
Each 70v (3.3V per spot) DLK transformer can power from 1 to 22 spots, which are connected using, miniplugs, and special series wired connector blocks.
There is no strict distance requirement from transformer to last spot as in the case of low voltage dichroic lighting.
The only limit to the applications of these mini spots is the users imagination either using single or multiple colours.

Their massive lifespan makes them ideal for 24-hour use.
One of there most common uses is for step-lighting where there compact size and lack of heat generation make them ideal for use in public areas such as pubs, nightclubs restaurants etc.
